Teplice Convent

Nowadays, it is possible to visit the building as part of the exhibition Po stopách zaniklého kláštera v Teplicích (Following in the footsteps  of the ancient convent at Teplice) in the local regional museum located on the ground floor of the recently renovated so-called Romanesque wing of the castle. The exhibition, which aims to present the convent within a European context, is housed  in eight halls and this in addition to the architectural articles, written sources, and graphic pieces representing the place. The  exhibition authors also illustrate its architectural history on the basis of two models of the convent. On  touch screens and in  multimedia projection rooms  films on the archaeological excavation work in the 1950s  can be seen, when  possibly  the remains of the second Queen of Bohemia, Judith of Thuringia, were uncovered.
